Kath contacted me in March 2024 to design the cover art for her new podcast; Modern Mother. She had some imagery ready to go, but after chatting about her target audience and testing out some designs, I suggested organising another shoot and gave art direction on the shot you see below. We felt this portrayed what the podcast was about perfectly'; juggling motherhood and being a businesswoman in 2024. It also gave us the perfect blank spaces to place the logo design and text on to.
The wavy modern font in the podcast logo represents the unsteadiness and fluidity of what life can be like as a mother and business owner, whilst the flat line it sits on, represents needing to keep yourself grounded throughout it all.
