After working with Tella on her partner’s gym print collateral in early 2024, she came to me to design her a full brand identity for her new advertising agency since leaving her full time agency role. Having had a lot of experience in the media world, Tella had a pretty clear idea on what she wanted and it got me super excited; bold, innovative, and modern design. Something that stood out and was ‘something to talk about’.
I had a very clear idea on what two logo concepts to present from our mood board curation, but when inspiration hit me for a third, I let it flow and decided to show her all three. She chose the third, saying “Okay wow, first of all I absolutely love all three. Number 1 and 2 is like you’ve read my mind. BUT number 3, even though it’s not what I initially envisioned, is definitely the one. I am obsessed with it. I literally have no changes, you’ve nailed it. I love it. The N is so cool. Love the colours, love the design, it’s perfect!”
The bold custom font, paired with the intense, vibrant colour palette is hard to miss and makes a statement which is exactly what Tella wanted.
Later in the year, we started on her custom website design. Designing this website from a blank canvas with all custom coding included meant we could achieve a fully unique, professional and bold website to showcase her services and past work. We took inspiration from the Rhode website and Y2K to source imagery and for Tella’s own brand photoshoot.
